Sweetie Belle looked out on this sunny day in Ponyville, sighing as she once again thought about how she wouldn't  be able to hang out with Applebloom or Scootaloo.  Rarity was off in Canterlot, so she was all alone.  Applebloom was working hard on learning to applebuck this season and so she couldn't play since Applejack required her full attention.  Scootaloo was at the Pegasus city to get flying lessons. She couldn't get up there to watch her either since she was unicorn and didn't quite have the magic power to levitate herself up there.

In short, she couldn't hang out with any ponies her age because none of the other fillies were very friendly towards her.  Without a cutie mark, none of them really had time for her or the others.  She thought about the other ponies she could go and play with and sighed again, remembering that each of them was busy.

Pinkie Pie had an important party to prepare for Princess Celestia, so she was up in Canterlot with Rarity.  Rainbow Dash was also with Scootaloo since flying was something she was good at and they wanted her there to give training to the fillies.  A bit of information that Scootaloo had not stopped mentioning since yesterday.  Rainbow Dash had even decided to take Scootaloo under her wing and help her a bit more than the other young Pegasi.

Of course Applejack was with Applebloom, so that left Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle.  Well Fluttershy had been asked to watch over some more animals as they came out of hibernation.  Sweetie Belle always found watching cute little animals boring and always wanted to speed the process up since she was so impatient.  Fluttershy found this far too aggressive a way to greet fresh animals just waking up, so she was out of the picture.

Sweetie Belle had wanted to get some help from Twilight Sparkle on using magic better, but the mayor had her researching into Ponyville's history.  Twilight had asked Sweetie to help, but Sweetie had quickly gotten bored.  History wasn't something she wanted to do.  She had  put up with  it for a little while, but she eventually found herself dosing.  She couldn't even play with Spike since he was busy fetching all of the books for Twilight.

So here she was, out of options for ponies to hang around with.  She pouted some more.  Even Opal had gone to Canterlot with Rarity and though she could have gone with Rarity, she would have just been in the way and Rarity didn't want her wandering around Canterlot without escort.  She went to her room and grabbed some markers, grabbed some blank paper and started to prepare for some drawing after putting a couple of different colors in her mouth.  She didn't have the slightest clue as to what to draw, so she just stared at the blank  page, thinking about the others she couldn't be with.  Therefore, she started to unconsciously draw the others.  It started with Applebloom and Scootaloo with her in the middle of the page, but then she thought  about how distraught she was since they weren't around and ripped up the page, starting anew.

This time she started with herself in the middle of the page, giving her a sad look with nothing but white background.  She drew herself with her head down, eyes sad, ears wilted since that was how she felt.  She was sitting down on her rump, her tail wrapped around her forehooves.

After she was satisfied with how she looked, she then went to the left of the page and drew an apple tree, full of delicious red apples, with a solid brown trunk.  It was the ideal apple tree, but then next to it she drew Applejack, body facing the front of the page, but her head was looking behind her.  She had a large proud smile, and no hat for once.  Then the image of applejack took on more form.  She drew Applebloom, on top of her sister as Spike is normally on top of Twilight.  She had two small apple baskets hanging on either  side of her.  She too was smiling excitedly and Sweetie Belle then drew Applejack's hat on Applebloom's head, tilted back to give a clear view of the excited filly's face.  Then for added measure, Sweetie drew some apples in the air, with little lines to indicate they were falling, filling up Applebloom's two baskets about half full, her hind legs drawn to make contact with the ideal apple tree she had drawn.

But the picture wasn't  done.  On the top right…she started to draw a blue sky, wonderfully white and puffy clouds, the image of a building just barely visible above the clouds. This would be the city of Cloudsdale.  But she didn't stop there.  After she was satisfied with the sky and image of  Cloudsdale, she started to draw Scootaloo.  Her backside was facing the front, her wings were spread, her tail flowing behind her as if she was flying forward.  But she drew Scootaloo's head facing the right, eyes full of admiration and smiling broadly.  She decided to make her mane look a little ruffled, then started to draw a hoof to the right of Scootaloo's mane, another lighter blue that clashed  well with the sky she had drawn, that hoof turning into an image of Rainbow Dash as Sweetie drew the rainbows of her tail and main, wings spread and nearly touching Scootaloo's as they flew the same direction as Scootaloo, towards Cloudsdale.  She drew Rainbow's head facing Scootaloo, winking with a sly smile.  That section of the page now looked like Rainbow Dash ruffling Scootaloo's mane as they approached Cloudsdale.

Tears were starting to well up in Sweetie Belle's eyes as the picture started to take on a more solid look.  But she pushed onward, wiping the tears and sniffling as she started to draw Rarity in a room full of decorations in the top center of the page.  A gray castle floor, with bows and ribbons that Rarity always used on her dresses.  Her body was facing the right of the page, her head tilted up in that haughty fashion she always used when feeling egotistical.  Her eyes were closed, but there was the hint of a smile on her face.  Next to her, she drew Pinkie Pie, balloons that matched the colors of her cutie mark tied around her midsection.  Pinkie Pie had this huge smile on her muzzle, but Sweetie drew her with a hoof out, offering one of the balloons to Rarity in this room full of party decorations.

Next, on the top right, she drew Fluttershy, her markers now seeming to flow as they drew Fluttershy's gentle look, her flowing mane.  She was also on some green pastured  land, but she was drawn sitting down facing the right, leaning down with her head while between her forelegs were a couple of squirrels, sleeping peacefully.  As Sweetie drew the squirrels, she made them touch Fluttershy's muzzle, making it look like the yellow Pegasus was nuzzling the animals awake while her eyes were filled with that kindness she always had for the smaller animals.

Finally, she went to the bottom right of the page and started to draw a library.  A brown floor of a room, bookcases with books stacked peacefully, if a little unevenly in front of the bookcases that had stored them before.  Then she drew Twilight Sparkle, sitting facing the left, not unlike the way she had drawn Fluttershy, but instead of her head leaning down it was facing forward, and her tail was draped in front of her body. Her eyes were full of concentration and focus as Sweetie drew a book in the air, but instead of surrounding it in the magic of color that represented Twilight's magic, she drew two scaly arms holding it up, those arms turning into the body and image of Spike holding open the book for Twilight.  His eyes were a bit tired but no less attentive as if waiting for Twilight's next command to search for a book.

Sweetie Belle looked at the finished drawing, then put the markers down and laid her head down on her forelegs, deciding that now was okay to start crying openly.  Oh how lonely she was and how much fun the others must be having.  She pushed the picture away as she continued to cry.  Maybe sometime soon, the others would have time for her, but until then…she would just wait here…patient and lonely…in her room.
Recently, I was on vacation visiting friends and family and having an altogether grand time while doing so. It was an amazing month of fun.

But like all vacations...this one had to end. So while I was in the airport, I was all sad cause I wouldn't see anybody for awhile.

So when I get upset, i do things to take my mind off of it...like...write. And this is the result. Since Sweetie Belle is my favorite pony(right next to her beautiful sister Rarity), I figured i'd make her have a sad day, like me. I remembered that episode where she was all sad cause Rarity wouldn't do anything for or with her even though she tried her hardest, and I made this. Hope you like

So essentially it's Sweetie Belle drawing a picture of all the ponies. After I finished it...i looked it over and realized that I REALLY liked the drawing that I described. I will have to see if there are some commissioners out there to draw it.
